investigate their collective struggles as well as their hopes and
dreams for the future. Workshop tools include Theatre of the Oppressed
with a focus on community building, story sharing, and problem solving

Intensive focus on the
practice and facilitation of the internationally acclaimed interactive
techniques developed by Brazilian theatre artist, educator, and activist,

of a challenging relationship. For deepening understanding of self

Dialogue |
Common sub-titles
for this program can include: “Anti-racism”, “Anti-Oppression”,
and/or “Diversity” workshop. This flexible event creates
a context for heterogenous (mixed) groups to explore issues of race,
class, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, religion, etc.
Primary tools include interactive theatre, anti-oppression theory,
and other participatory processes to generate an honest dialogue on
systematic oppression (power-based analysis of the “isms”)
that divide people through inequity and injustice. Click here

Experiential exploration
of how European-Americans can be more effective on the journey towards
eliminating racism. Includes an investigation of cultural heritage,
class & gender issues, and allyship. Featuring interactive theater
and other anti-oppression techniques. (3 days recommended; 10-30 participants

Theatre Ensemble Performances |
Interactive performances
by our multi-generational troupe (currently ages 15-80) to invite
story sharing, stimulate deep dialogue, and generate positive action
around burning social issues. Using techniques from both Theatre of
the Oppressed and Playback Theatre, our improvisational performances
are tailored to meet the needs of each specific context and are appropriate
for virtually any population and/or issue. Click
